The innovative Mechanical Repair Station removes nearly any broken deckboard from stringer type pallets at the push of a button. Powerful pneumatic cylinders are actuated by the operator to remove an individual board quickly and effortlessly. The removed board drops from the pallet into a collection bin, or on to an optional belt conveyor for removal and the operator moves on to the next task.

The patented design’s unique features includes 4 board removal bars – each powered by individual pneumatic cylinders that are mechanically tied together and turned by a 5th pneumatic cylinder. The removal bars are driven up, in to the pallet, then turn 90 degrees to go over the damaged board. The next step of the cycle is initiated by the operator’s push of a button which drives the removal bars down in which the board is pulled off of the pallet and then the removal bars turn back 90 degrees to remove the board. The logic and power of the machine is 100% pneumatic – so you only need compressed air and the machine is up and running! No electrical devices to worry about, no hydraulics to service or leaks to fix, and no PLC!
