PRS is hiring a machine assembler/mechanic. This position includes assembling and fabricating newly manufactured machine parts and products. Mechanics will conduct test runs on new equipment in the plant. Individuals must read, interpret and follow instructions from basic blueprints and diagrams. Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is required.
Must be willing to travel 40-60 days per year, 90% domestic, 10% international. Passport required.
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Assemble newly manufactured machines and perform test runs on new equipment in the plant
Dismantle, inspect, repair, and re-assemble used machinery
Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing work in accordance with quality standards
Skills & Experience
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical
Ability to use logic and reasoning to problem solve basic machine issues
Be willing to travel (Passport preferred)
PLC knowledge is a plus
